O2 STORY
I have been physically active and a healthy eater all of my life, but until I started cycling I was not able to lower what I thought was genetically high cholesterol. After only 6 months of cycling I successfully lowered my cholesterol. My vision for O2 evolved from this personal experience. O2 PHILOSOPHY
Being an O2 Athlete means attaining fitness from the "inside-out". Focusing on cardiovascular fitness first, O2 offers a full schedule of indoor cycling classes that cater to all athletic levels. O2 also offers cross-training classes including Pilates and Yoga for deepening flexibility, building core and increasing muscle strength to support the areas of the body that are the most used during intense endurance training and therefore tight and prone to injury.
O2 COMMUNITY
Housed in the historic red brick building known as the Julian Drew Block in the heart of downtown Tucson, O2 is proud to contribute to the Tucson community by:
~ providing an achievable, affordable and effective path to sustainable fitness
~ serving the downtown employees who have limited access to convenient and quality fitness options
~ offering a significant economic contribution to the downtown revitalization effort
~ creating a place where like-minded community members can gather to discuss issues regarding local healthy lifestyle activities, cycling specific topics and
issues, and the latest in fitness technology and athletic training.
Intentionally locating next door to Fitworks Cycling Support, a local bike fitting and custom bike studio, O2 MODERN FITNESS is aligned with Fitworks mission to be a valuable resource to the cycling community where cyclist of all levels are exposed to techniques and tools that are therapeutic, optimize training and increase performance.
O2 advocates Fitness-first - prioritizing fitness to increase physical freedom, sharpen mental focus and uplift and lighten attitude to live life to its fullest.
